Learn JavaScript in 7 Days

Write your first program, turn messy data into a study plan, and connect it to a webpage. Each lesson gives you something to understand, change, and build.

A pace, not a deadline

36 lessons across seven modules. Plan around 60–90 minutes of active study per day, using the lesson estimates below. Expanded worked examples, contrasting cases and an independent checkpoint give you practice from several angles. Day 7’s delayed review is extra. These are suggested study budgets, not measured completion times.

Start with no programming experience. Most editors show console output; Day 7 has a separate webpage preview. Predict before running, use hints when stuck, and revisit older exercises. Your lesson completion stays in this browser. Split a day into two sessions if helpful. If you finish early, do the changed-input challenges; if you need longer, repeat the practice before moving on.
